I am a working man with a small salary, and I do not have any other way to buy a car other than via the bank – in an arrangement whereby I rent the car [at a higher rate], which ends with me owning it.

If I was offered money [intended] to assist me, and I am aware that its source is haraam, would it be permissible for me to take it?
When I want to give in charity to my relatives and [those of] my friends who are in need – my mother opposes me in this, claiming that I am squandering my money without benefit, and that I should save my money for what will benefit me later.
