He received compensation from the government amounting to 4,000 Riyals – and claimed it using a forged document in compensation for flood [damage]; So [now] he says, “what should I do with this sum of money which I have dishonestly [claimed and subsequently] received?”
Is [this] permissible – [that] someone who says he wants to donate a body part, and in return receive a monetary payment – is this permissible [to do]?
Is it permissible for a Muslim [living] in a non-Islaamic country to deposit his money in a bank, and receive non-Sharee’ah compliant profits, [bearing in mind] there are no Islaamic corporations in that country?
What is the manner in which one should repent [to Allaah] from paying a bribe, and will the repentance be accepted if it is sincere; And what about the money, what should I do with it – [bearing in mind] I have already used some of it?
I own [some] stores located on al-Hijaaz Road, and the National Bank has offered to rent them; [so] since this bank is amongst those banks which deal with ribaa, would it be permissible for me to rent [these stores] to this bank and those like it which deal with ribaa? Please provide us with a fatwa, and may Allaah reward you [well].
Is working in Islaamic banks or Islaamic investment companies permissible, and is the salary [of the one who does] halaal?
