[O] noble Shaykh, what are your words [of advice] as we welcome the middle ten days of the blessed [month] of Ramadhaan?
What is the wisdom behind fasting the [three full moon] white days [namely the 13th, 14th and 15th of every hijri month], and why has Allaah specified these [particular days]?
Upon the arrival of the month of Ramadhaan, we hear many people congratulating one another on its arrival by saying: “Congratulations to you on [the arrival of] the month of Ramadhaan”.
It’s obligation is indicated in the Qur.aan, the Sunnah and al-ijmaa’ (major consensus)
Indeed these words are a lie attributed to the Messenger (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam), and whoever attributes a lie to the Messenger will find his seat in the Hell Fire…
What is the status and significance of fasting as a form of worship in Islaam, especially (during) the month of Ramadhaan?
What words of guidance do you have for the Muslim ummah, on the occasion of the month of Ramadhaan?
Regarding the [first] ten [days and nights] of Dhul-Hijjah and the [last] ten [days and nights] of Ramadhaan, which of the two are superior?
Is the one who does not fast, even though he is not ill or anything, become a disbeliever, despite performing his [obligatory] prayers?
I have heard there are [different] categories in fasting, what is the truth of this statement? And is there a specific reward for each?
