Question: Which of the two is better: Completing the taraaweeh prayer or accompanying the janaazah (the burial)?

Response: My opinion is that accompanying the burial is better because that can pass by and is not on-going. As for the taraaweeh then within it there is a possibilty to make it up afterwards even by yourself. And there is no doubt that accompanying the deceased has been made incumbent upon the relatives of the deceased and its burial is fard kifaayah (a collective obligation which, if some of the Muslims carry out, then it relieves the rest of this obligation).
