سئل الإمام ابن باز رحمه الله عن أحسن كتاب قرأه ، فقال : (شرح النووي على مسلم … قرأته أكثر من ستين مرة)
فيها فوائد:
1- لم يمنعه كف بصره عن القراءة
2- علو همته وقوة جَلَده
3- إجلاله لأهل العلم ونسبة الفضل إليهم
4- أن تكرار العلم ليس عيباً

Imaam Ibn Baaz (rahima-hullaah) was asked about the best book he has read*.
He replied:
an-Nawawee’s explanation of [Saheeh] Muslim…I have read* it more than 60 times.
There are a number of points of benefit [to be noted here]:
- His blindness had not prevented him from reading*;
- His immense zeal and strength of purpose;
- His reverence of the people of knowledge;
- There is no shame in revising knowledge;
- Adhering to reading and seeking knowledge even in old age.
