Question: In general, parents complain about their children delaying the prayer past its time?

Response: It is befitting for the father and mother to strive in encouraging their sons and daughters to pray, and to remind them [about the time for prayer].

Allaah (Ta’aala) says:

{And enjoin prayer upon your family [and people] and be steadfast therein.}, soorah TaaHaa, aayah 132

It is imperative to confront [them], and exhert [yourself]. [That said] however, by repeating the call [to them to pray], advising, questioning and encouraging them, I anticipate that Allaah will [in shaa.-Allaah] grant our sons and daughters the towfeeq to be steadfast in maintaining their prayer.
