Question: What is “an-nams”?

And is it permissible for a woman to remove facial hair and the hair from her legs and arms if such hair causes the aversion of her husband?

Response: All praise is due to Allaah alone, and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon His Messenger and his family and his companions. To proceed:

“an-nams” is the removal of the hair from the eyebrows; And this is not permissible since the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ cursed the one who removed the hair from the eyebrows as well as the one who allowed such hair to be removed. It is [however] permissible for a woman to remove facial hair as well as the hair from her legs and arms.

And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet ﷺ and his family and his companions.
