Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and minister of interior, has been awarded a CIA honor in recognition of his efforts to fight terrorism.
Members of the Council of Senior Scholars emphasized the importance of the role played by scholars in disseminating rightful information and revealing the shallow tricks of terrorists in trying to lure people away from the rightful path.

Saudi Arabia has suffered a total of 208 deaths and 1,127 injuries from 51 terror attacks since 1979, the government said on Tuesday, in a move to dispel malicious and seemingly orchestrated reports tagging the Kingdom as a sponsor of terrorism.
General Secretariat of the Council of Senior Scholars have said “Islam magnifies the sanctity of human blood and criminalizes terrorism that kills and terrorizes innocent people in their homes, markets and facilities teeming with men, women and children, and that all humanity rejects and condemns it.”
Scholars from inside and outside the Kingdom have rejected the terrorist acts carried out by a stray social group who have turned away from Islam, asserting that bombings are a form of moral corruption forbidden by Allah the Almighty in the Holy Qur’an and by the Prophet (peace be upon him).
