We would like an explanation about some of the recommended etiquettes of fasting, so we can benefit [by putting them into practice].
What is the ruling regarding the one who broke his fast when he heard the mu.adhdhin calling the adhaan for [the] maghrib [prayer], and thereafter it was confirmed the mu.adhdhin had actually called the adhaan two to three minutes early?
If the menstruating woman [completes her menses and] purifies herself after the the time of ‘Asr has arrived, should she pray the Zhuhr and ‘Asr prayers, or is she just required to pray the ‘Asr prayer?
al-Aswad ibn Yazeed would complete [reading] the Qur.aan every two days during Ramadhaan, and he would sleep between maghrib and ‘ishaa. And in other than Ramadhaan, he would complete [reading] the Qur.aan every six days.
