Some of the brothers – who are not well-versed [on the topic] – have asked about a comprehensive book on ‘aqeedah that they can suffice with.
So whoever commits [a deed] which Allaah and His Messenger have forbidden, has harmed his religion; and he must remedy this harm by repentance and turning back [from this misdeed].
[For me] to remain with these [people] is better than [to proceed] for [the voluntary] hajj.
The heart of the son of Aadam is agitated more severely than the cooking pot when it boils.
The Jamaa’ah is what accords to the truth, even if you are alone.
You hope for Allaah’s Mercy for him and you fear for him because of his sins.
Indeed the people of Truth and the Sunnah do not follow anyone [unconditionally] except the messenger of Allaah ﷺ, the one who does not speak from his desires – it is only revelation revealed to him.
The sword was put to my neck five times [and each time] it was not said to me, ‘Leave your madhhab’ but it was said to me, ‘Remain silent about those who are in opposition to you’. So I would say, ‘I will not remain silent’.
