By Allaah, were the hearts sound (pure), they would be saddened at missing out [from goodness to be attained]. How many are the hours which pass by us, and we are prevented from benefitting from them?

So if he did not ‘sow’ anything in there for his Hereafter, then he has lost it, and [as a result] he has lost his Hereafter.
And when Allaah accepts [a good deed] from His worshiper, He then blesses hm with obedience [to Him], and diverts him [away] from [falling into] sin.
It is befitting for the student of knowledge to rectify his intention [solely for the Sake of Allaah], for indeed the loss of [a] sincere [intention] prevents the acceptance of [righteous] actions.
