Question: Is plucking hair from the face without [plucking] the eyebrows impermissible?
Response: Yes, it is impermissible. Plucking facial hair is considered to be from an-nams [النمص – which refers to plucking the eyebrows], and the Prophet ﷺ cursed the one who does so; and it is considered from the major sins – whether or not it is from the eyebrows, the cheeks or other than that.
