Wearing a watch during the mourning period
During the period of mourning, is it permissible to wear a watch for time keeping and not for beautification?

We see and read in Arabian newspapers about operations conducted by some of the doctors in Europe [whereby] they change a man to a woman and a woman to a man. So is that correct [to do]?
Promised to marry her if she embraced Islaam

Working nights as a security guard for a bank
He has been working for one of the banks for a period of ten years, and he [recently] learnt that working for banks is not permissible. He works nights as a [security] guard, and has no connection with the [trading] activities [of the bank], so can he continue working [there] or [should he] leave?
Renting a trading establishment to a bank which deals with ribaa
I own [some] stores located on al-Hijaaz Road, and the National Bank has offered to rent them; [so] since this bank is amongst those banks which deal with ribaa, would it be permissible for me to rent [these stores] to this bank and those like it which deal with ribaa? Please provide us with a fatwa, and may Allaah reward you [well].

Is working in Islaamic banks or Islaamic investment companies permissible, and is the salary [of the one who does] halaal?

Does the ruling for an image created with a video camera carry the same ruling as an image created with a photographic camera?
Saying: “I created this”
If I was to make a cup for example, is it possible for me to say “I created it”, or would this be [regarded as] infringing in the affairs of the Attributes of Allaah and His Names?
Filming and taking photographs
I was gifted a camera and began [by] filming an entire film; however, I [then] heard that photographers [and filmmakers] will be punished the most severely on the Day of Resurrection, so what should I do? And should I begin by burning these [films and] pictures? And how about [filming and] taking pictures of nature – without any human beings?
