In the absence of your brother
In the absence of your brother, make mention of him with what you [yourself] would like to be remembered with, and do not make mention of him with what you [yourself] would not like to be mentioned...

So if you see a man whose taste and desire is for listening to verses [of poetry] rather than verses [of the Qur.aan], and for listening to music rather than the Qur.aan - then this is the strongest...
These words are beyond the level of originality
The speed of someone hastening [towards something] is based upon the size of the goal. So in seeking sustenance, [Allaah] says
Reflect at the wisdom of Allaah
And look at the wisdom of Allaah and His love for the coming together of the hearts [of the believers].
Watch your tongue
Most of the sins of the son of Aadam are due to his tongue
Don't concern yourself with them
Indeed, you are unable to please all of the people, so rectify that which is between you and Allaah and don't concern yourself with [what] the people [may think or say].
