Question: Is plucking hair from the face without [plucking] the eyebrows impermissible?
Response: Yes, it is impermissible. Plucking facial hair is considered to be from an-nams [النمص - which refers to plucking the eyebrows], and the Prophet ﷺ cursed the one who does so [transmitted by al-Bukhaaree no.4886 and Muslim no.2125]; and it is considered from the major sins - whether or not it is from the eyebrows, the cheeks or other than that.
