It is narrated from ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab رضي الله عنه a very beneficial statement, which is his saying

Envying one another
[When] I saw people envying one another, I reflected on the words of Allaah تعالى
Remember, and be grateful for all your blessings
And this is [the case with] most of the blessings; in the main, they are not appreciated until they are lost.
Praise and gratitude towards Allaah
al-Imaam Abu Bakr at-Tartooshee رحمه الله said the scholars used to say
I love you for the sake of Allaah
The Prophet ﷺ met me and said:
O Mu’aadh, indeed I love you for the Sake of Allaah.
[And] I replied
