Is it permissible for a son to supplicate for his father who has died whilst having abandoned the prayer?
[And all this was] over some petty matters, as I suspected she loved my older brother more than me, because she treated me badly.
Allaah has tested a man with his elderly father, who does not keep away from sin; such as listening to music, and looking at dancing women, and belittling some of the Companions [of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)].
[O] Noble Shaykh Saalih, do you have any word[s] of guidance to the one who is disobedient to his parents, especially the mother. [I ask] since I am suffering from the disobedience of my daughter for more than ten years; she has not telephone [me], and I do not know anything about her.
He lives in a separate house [away] from his parents, so is this inconsistent with fulfilling his complete duty towards them?
