Allaah (‘Azza wa Jall) blessed me and my brothers to embrace the religion of Islaam; and [so] my question is: What are the rights of non-Muslim parents upon their Muslim children?
[And all this was] over some petty matters, as I suspected she loved my older brother more than me, because she treated me badly.
Allaah has tested a man with his elderly father, who does not keep away from sin; such as listening to music, and looking at dancing women, and belittling some of the Companions [of the Prophet (sal-Allaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam)].
When children are upon goodness, is this a blessing [from Allaah]; and when they are corrupt, are they a curse?
