Question: What is the ruling regarding buying daily newspapers and magazines within which are pictures?
And what is the ruling regarding taking them to the masaajid to read them?
Response: It is permissible to buy them [so long as] if you efface the heads of [all] that which has a soul [from amongst the humans and animals]. And it is better for you to read the Qur.aan in the masjid so that you can benefit from it, and so that you can be an example to others in [doing] that which is good.
And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet ﷺ and his family and his companions.
