Reference: Fataawa Ramadhaan v2 p482 no.426
Question: Is the one who is overcome by vomiting during the day in Ramadhaan required to make up [the fast for that day]?
Response: This does not affect his fast and he is not required to make up [the fast for that day)] due to the saying of the Prophet ﷺ:
«Whoever is overcome by vomiting, then he is not required to make up [the fast for that day] and whoever deliberately vomits then he is required to make up [the fast for that day]» [transmitted by Abu Daawood no.2380, at-Tirmidhee no.720 and Ibn Maajah no.1676; graded saheeh by al-Albaanee]
