The cure for jealousy

Question: What is the cure for jealousy?

Response: [That you] seek refuge in Allaah from Shaytaan, and ask Allaah of His Bounty. Ask Allaah of His Bounty [as He says]:

{And wish not for the things in which Allaah has made some of you to excel others. For men there is reward for what they have earned, [and likewise] for women there is reward for what they have earned, and ask Allaah of His Bounty}, soorah an-Nisaa, aayah 32

Ask Allaah to give [that which is] similar to what He has given your brother, and do not be jealous of him – [nor] hope for the cessation of [Allaah’s] blessing from your brother.
