Three signs of a hypocrite

Reference: al-Hilyah – Volume 4, Page 47

‘Uqayl ibn Ma’qal said: I heard my uncle – Wahb ibn Munabbih say:

There are three signs of a hypocrite: He is lazy when alone, and becomes active when others are around him, and keenly carries out tasks when praised.

And there are three signs of the jealous one: He detests the one whom he is jealous of, and he flatters him when he sees him, and maliciously rejoices when misfortune befalls him.
