Whoever remembers Allaah, He will remember him, respond to his supplication, protect him from whisperings of Shaytaan, and alleviate his difficulties.

A cause of splitting the jamaa’ah
He who follows his desires is prohibited from guidance, and falls into opposing the Sharee’ah, and [as a result] is a cause of splitting the jamaa’ah.
Good, upright and moral character
[From] good [upright and moral] character is to select [deeds of] virtue and abandon [deeds of] vice.
Always intend good
‘O my son, [always] intend good, for indeed you shall remain upon good so long as you intend good’
Characteristics of the people of faith
Praiseworthy characteristics are from beautiful actions, and good speech is [from] the characteristics of the people of faith.
Due to his tongue
«Most of the sins of the son of Aadam are due to his tongue»
What is the benefit of doing hajj then?
[Imagine that], hajj without [understanding] tawheed; What is the benefit of [doing hajj then?]
Does not realise he is dreaming until he wakes up
One who is asleep does not realise he is dreaming until he wakes up, likewise, one who is negligent of the Hereafter does not realise what he has lost until after death reaches him.
Extreme reverence towards their Shaykhs
…and many people have extreme reverence (ghuloo) towards their shaykhs the type [of ghuloo] which exists in the shee’ah in their extreme reverence towards their imaams.
Bury him where he dies
On 30 Jumada Thani 1414, when asked about the will within which the deceased requested burial in Madeenah, Shaykh Ibn Baaz said: This is not befitting; Whenever anyone dies, he is to be buried in the town in which he dies.
