May Allaah have mercy upon my mother, and all of our parents. She would often mention this saying: ‘Tire your feet, and do not tire your tongue.’* *The meaning of which is
A sound heart
…and the shortest of paths to Paradise is soundness* of the heart.

The example of the believer is like the pearl
The example of the believer is like the pearl; wherever it is [found], its beauty is with it (i.e. wherever they may be, their beautiful character accompanys them).
Spreading the faults and shortcomings of the leaders
It is not from [the etiquettes of] giving advice to spread the faults and shortcomings of the leaders, since that fills the hearts with anger and hate towards the [established and recognised] leaders.
