Neither Allaah nor His Messenger commanded [us] to observe the days of misfortune for the Prophets and their deaths as a period of mourning – so how about of those other than them?!

Good manners are better for the children [both] in terms of their character and wealth, than to give them gold and silver.

It is incumbent upon the one to whom advice has been given by his [Muslim] brother to bear the advice with good thoughts, and to thank him for his advice.

From that [response] which pleased me [was]: A young girl asked her father: “Which part of my body should I conceal, and which part should I reveal?” So he said to her
Lying for real or as a joke
It is not befitting to lie for real or as a joke, and nor for any of you to promise your child something, and then not to fulfil [your promise] to him.
