Such was Ibraheem an-Nakha’ee رحمه الله, that when someone sought him at home, and he did not want (disliked) to go out to meet him, he would tell his slave girl to say to him:
‘Ask for him (seek him out) at the masjid’, and don’t say to him: ‘He is not here, so as not to lie.’
