The Winter night has become long, so blessed is he who does good deeds during it, and misery for the one who does wrong.

The disappearance of Islaam will be due to four [factors]…
The first [stage] of knowledge is to listen [carefully], then [conscientiously] memorise it, then act according to it, then convey it [to others].
Woe be once to the one who does not know, and woe be seven times to the one who knows but does not act [according to his knowledge].
Whoever does an act which is not in accordance with the Sunnah, then his act is void.
If you are unable to establish the [voluntary] night prayer, nor [voluntarily] fast during the day, then know that you have been prevented [from doing these great acts of worship], because you have been shackled by your sins.
Love of Allaah ‘Azza wa Jall entails love of the Qur.aan, and love of the Messenger ﷺ entails acting in accordance with his Sunnah.
