Be cautious of the scholars of evil, just as you are cautious of Iblees.

al-Marwathee said, I said to Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله:
‘How are you this morning?’ He [Ahmad ibn Hanbal رحمه الله] replied
Innovation is more beloved to Iblees
Innovation is more beloved to Iblees than sin, since a sin may be repented from but innovation is not repented from.
