Do not fear the supplication of the one who supplicates against you without [any] right [to do so].
Oh Abaa Sa’eed, indeed I heard you supplicating this night for the ones who oppressed you, until I wished to be amongst them. What led you to do this?
Beware of the supplications of the oppressed, for they ascend to Allaah as if they are sparks of fire.
Is it permissible for me to supplicate against someone who has oppressed me in a major way, thereby cutting-off my sustenance – and I’m only a young man who wants to get married – and [here I am] living this life?
