Abu az-Zinaad said:

The fuqahaa of Madeenah [were]: Sa’eed ibn al-Musayyib, ‘Abdul-Malik [ibn Marwaan], ‘Urwah [ibn Uthaynah], and Qubaysah ibn Thu’ayb.
