The most dishonest of the people

al-Fudhayl ibn ‘Iyaadh رحمه الله said:

The most dishonest of the people is the one who returns to his sins [after repenting for them].

And the most ignorant of the people is the one who is arrogant about his good deeds.

And the most knowledgeable of the people is the one who fears [Allaah] the most.
