Time for friends, but not for prayer?
The one who hastens in praying quickly – at a pace void of being calm and at ease, then his prayer is invalid; [whether that is] the obligatory [prayer] or the voluntary [prayer].
He was overcome with tears
I prayed the Fajr prayer behind al-Fudhayl ibn ‘Iyaadh رحمه الله, and he recited:
The Inevitable Reality al-Haaqqah 69:1 So when he reached the aayah
He fell unconscious
I prayed [the] Maghrib [prayer] behind Fudhayl ibn ‘Iyaadh رحمه الله, with his son ‘Ali at my side. He (Fudhayl) recited
Closing the eyes during the prayer
Whilst praying, is it permissible for him to close his eyes, because it helps him to concentrate more when doing so?
Doubt after completing an act of worship
After completing the prayer, I began to doubt whether I [sat and] recited the first tashahhud or not. So what is the ruling [regarding that]?
