Sitting in gatherings where backbiting takes place
I often sit in the company of other women, and often is the case that there is backbiting in these gatherings. And I feel very agitated by this, and dislike it, however, I am unable to actually do anything about it; I can’t even leave the gathering.
The knowledge of ‘Aa.ishah
If [all] the knowledge of ‘Aa.ishah رضي الله عنها was gathered, and [all] the knowledge of all the women was gathered, [then] the knowledge of ‘Aa.ishah would be better.

This is what the Shaykh was doing during the final hours of his life.
Never did I see anyone who remembered death more than him
Never did I sit in the gathering of Sufyaan, except that there was mention of death, [and] never did I see anyone who remembered death more than him.
Don’t follow behind me
[It was reported] regarding ‘Abdur-Rahmaan ibn Mahdee that he rose from a gathering and the people [too arose and] followed [behind] him. So [out of humility] he said to them: ‘O people, don’t follow behind me.’
Leading the prayer
The time for prayer entered upon a group of scholars; So it was said to one of them to lead [the prayer], but he declined.
