In recent times, the celebration of Valentine’s Day has become widespread, especially amongst female students, and [it is worth noting] it is from amongst the celebrations of the Christians. [Also], the attire is completely red [in colour] – [from] the clothing and the shoes, and they exchange red flowers [with one another].

My husband does not pray
My husband does not pray, and I sometime wake him up for the salaah, but he severely admonishes me, and sometimes he [even] beats me. [So] should I leave him be, or should I [continue to] encourage him to pray, or what should I do with him? Please guide me, and baara-kAllaahu feekum.
I am a housewife
“I am a housewife, and don’t [go out to] work. And most of my time is spent with my children, looking after them, and at the service of my husband. And [whilst] I am in the kitchen, I listen to the [recitation of the] Qur.aan; so am I rewarded for [any of] that?”
Lying for the sake of Da’wah
Is it permissible to lie for the sake of da’wah to Allaah?
Sisters, “the brother-in-law is death”!
He ﷺ said: «Beware of entering upon women.»
Be patient
Man has not been blessed with anything better than patience…
Beware of leniency in this matter
Is it permissible for me to shake the hand of my wife’s sister, and to be alone with her or other than that? [It’s just] because I know [while I am married to her sister, then] she is prohibited to me.
Stop hassling me about praying
My husband does not pray, and every time I advise him [about it], he says “in shaa.-Allaah I will pray”.
Incapable of financially supporting his wife
“If the husband is incapable of financially supporting [his wife], then it is permissible for her to seek a divorce.”
Sometimes I upset my husband and don’t apologise
Sometimes I upset my husband, which provokes his anger. [As a result], he boycotts me and keeps away from me. I cannot apologise to him because I am very ashamed [of myself]; so if my husband remains angry [like this] with me, am I liable for [any] sin?
