So whoever commits [a deed] which Allaah and His Messenger have forbidden, has harmed his religion; and he must remedy this harm by repentance and turning back [to Allaah].

When the servant of Allaah commits a sin
Peace be upon you; [and] to proceed: Certainly, when the servant [of Allaah] commits a sin, he causes Allaah to detest him, and when he causes Allaah to detest him, He causes him to be detested by His servants.

O Allaah, if you forgive me
O Allaah, if you forgive me, then you are qualified to do so, and if you punish me, then I am qualified to be so.
Dirty clothing is more in need of soap than it is of a pleasant scent
Which of the two is best: [that] I glorify Allaah ( سبحان الله ), or [that] I seek forgiveness from Allaah ( أستغفر الله )?

The most dishonest of the people is the one who returns to his sins [after repenting for them]…
Don’t know exactly who I stole from
[Sometime ago] I stole about five car covers, and after I had repented [from doing so], I felt remorse about what I had done. I felt this remorse was of no benefit to me, so I began to wish for my hands to be cut-off! [So] before I do this, guide me [to that which is correct regarding my situation], and may Allaah reward you?
