I heard from some people that it is not permissible for a person to cut his nails during the first ten [days] of Dhul-Hijjah. Is what I have heard correct?
A year and a half ago Allaah blessed me with a child, but I did not offer the [‘aqeeqah] sacrifice because I could not afford to do so; so can I offer a sacrifice now?
Indeed a year comes [and passes], and I will not have eaten any meat, other than from my udh.hiyah sacrifice on the day of [‘Eed] al-Adh.haa.
Does the slaughter of the sacrifice in Makkah have any excellence attached to it, than doing so outside of Makkah?
Is it obligatory upon the one who slaughtered [the sacrifice] during hajj to eat from this sacrifice?
If I was performing the tamattu’ hajj, and [bought a sacrificial ticket by] paying the bank the price of the sacrifice, and they told me the slaughter shall take place on the first day of ‘Eed (10th Dhul-Hijjah) – am I thereby discharged from the state of ihraam after stoning al-jamarah [al-kubraa], the tawaaf al-ifaadhah and the sa’ee?
