Using skin and hair creams before performing wudhoo

Question: Do skin creams and hair creams prevent water [touching the skin] during wudhoo? And if that is so, would that be for all creams, or [just] some types?

Response: That which is apparent [to me] is that these creams do not prevent [water reaching the skin]. That is because the cream does not remain, rather as soon as it is applied it is absorbed [into the skin]. So [that which is apparent to me is] the creams and their like do not prevent [water reaching the skin] because it does not remain on the area for long, unless it is from the types which has mass which remains, and as such prevents water from reaching the skin; so these types [of creams] must be removed before [doing] wudhoo.
