Question: I perform circumcision operations and charge [a fee] for it. Is there any reward for me from Allaah?

Response: If the circumcision was performed in a place specific to it, then there is no harm in charging for it. And if the circumcision was done in a hospital at the expense of the Government, then it is not permissible to charge for it, because it will be regarded as a [form of] bribe.

As for its reward from Allaah, then that is with Allaah; He has Complete knowledge as to what was in your heart (intention) and what incentive you had for performing [the circumcision operations].

And with Allaah lies all success and may Allaah send prayers and salutations upon our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and his family and his companions.
