Majmoo’ Aathaar al-Mu’allimee v22 p109

al-Mu’allimee رحمه الله said:

Beware of abandoning the Sunan (pl. Sunnah), for indeed they are the testimonies of certainty [in eemaan]. And whoever is lenient in [doing] the Sunan, Shaytaan will make it easy for him to [eventually] abandon the major obligatory acts.
