What is the ruling regarding visiting the [historical] sites related to the Prophetic biography, such as the cave of Hiraa, the mountain of Uhud and Masjid Qiblatayn?
Is it from the methodology of the Salaf to seek a fatwa from a scholar regarding an issue, [and] then go to another [scholar] and seek a fatwa [about the same issue] from him, and so on?
…then the reward for what he intended and strived towards will be recorded for him [even though he did not attain his goal].
