I am a youth, and have been afflicted with [committing] a sin, and every time I repent [to Allaah] from it, I go back to doing it; I [just] want to be free of it, [so] if I were to do it again, is it permissible for me to undertake an oath that I shall fast a day for the Sake of Allaah, or give in charity so [as a result of which] He will safeguard me from doing it again?
I have become afflicted with the [evil] habit of masturbation, [so] I ask you about the cure for it; [as] I am addicted to watching films of a prohibited nature. Do guide me [to salvation from this evil habit], and may Allaah bless you?
“I am a housewife, and don’t [go out to] work. And most of my time is spent with my children, looking after them, and at the service of my husband. And [whilst] I am in the kitchen, I listen to the [recitation of the] Qur.aan; so am I rewarded for [any of] that?”
What is the ruling regarding friendship between the two genders, bearing in mind it is with a righteous intention, and not [anything] bad?
My husband does not pray, and every time I advise him [about it], he says “in shaa.-Allaah I will pray”.
He asks about the ruling regarding shaking hands with women, and whether it is prohibited, and whether shaking their hands nullifies the wudhoo?
Sometimes I upset my husband, which provokes his anger. [As a result], he boycotts me and keeps away from me. I cannot apologise to him because I am very ashamed [of myself]; so if my husband remains angry [like this] with me, am I liable for [any] sin?
If, for example, the young lady has had surgery on her stomach, and the operation required an incision be made and then sewn up, and this was a very small procedure when she was giving birth – or after that by afew months, then are her family required to inform the one who has come to see her for marriage about this surgery, which has left a scar? And is this his legal right [to know] or not?
In general, parents complain about their children delaying the prayer past its time?
A brother says he has an infant daughter, and an infant son from a woman he divorced some 3 years ago because she does not pray nor assume hijaab.
