Protecting his photographic memory
Shaykh Ihsaan Ilaahee Zaheer رحمه الله informed me about our Shaykh, Muhammad al-Gondalwi رحمه الله that he would not read the newspapers or magazines - so as not to [inadvertantly] memorise them!

How are you this morning?
He was the most humblest of all the people
He would remain in the main masjid of the city from [the time of] Fajr until [the time of] 'Ishaa, not leaving other than for a need. He would teach the people and have them read the Qur.aan to him.

Most authentic book
There is no book more authentic on the face of the earth, than the book of [al-Imaam] Muslim.
Before putting pen to paper
