Shaykh ‘Abdur-Razzaaq al-Badr said:

It is befitting for the worshiper not to become lethargic, because some of the people begin Ramadhaan with energy, and then become lethargic.

No! Rather, he must double his efforts during the last ten of Ramadhaan.

And to strive every night of the [last ten] nights of Ramadhaan to take advantage of Laylatul-Qadr.

And do not pay attention to the sightings [of Laylatul-Qadr]; and what can make you know what the sightings are?

These hinder many people from seeking Laylatul-Qadr in all of the [last] ten [nights].

[These] hinder many people from seeking Laylatul-Qadr in all of the [last] ten [nights].

So it is befitting for the one who is sincere to himself – to strive in the last ten of Ramadhaan to take advantage of this night and not to be – and we seek refuge in Allaah – of those who have been denied.

For indeed, he who is denied its good has indeed been denied.
