Question: If a man had sexual intercourse with his wife during the day in Ramadhaan and died before he could make expiation, is he thus relieved of making expiation?
Response: If a man had sexual intercourse during the day in Ramadhaan, we obligate upon him to make expiation. However, if he died before doing this (making the expiation), then he is not relieved from it but, rather, it must be made [on his behalf] by taking from [what he has of] his wealth.
