Seize the opportunity of life, and draw closer to Allaah
So we should take advantage of our life – in obedience to Allaah سبحانه و تعالى, because life is short, and time is passing [us by]. Time is [but] moments, not days, nor hours.
Do not waste this precious life
So my advice to my brothers – not [specifically] regarding the internet, nor the satellite channels – is to fear Allaah regarding themselves, and to know that they have not been created for this…
A warning against being preoccupied with the faults of others
From the people are those who preoccupy themselves with the faults of others, and forget their own faults.
Using Soorah al-Faatihah as a treatment
If the worshipper became proficient in using [Soorah] al-Faatihah as a treatment, [then by the permission of Allaah] he would indeed see its amazing effect in healing.
The right of Allaah upon you is greater
Do not look in vain at your hard work [in doing righteous deeds], for [indeed] the right of Allaah upon you [that He alone be worshiped] is greater [than that].
This world is the ‘farm’ of the Hereafter
This world is the ‘farm’ of the Hereafter. So if he did not ‘sow’ anything in there for his Hereafter, then he has lost it, and [as a result] he has lost his Hereafter.
Patience whilst upon obedience to Allaah
Patience whilst upon obedience [to Allaah] is [the attainment of] a higher rank than patience whilst enduring trials and tribulations!
The blessing of eemaan and intellect
After [being blessed with] eemaan, the worshipper [of Allaah] has not been blessed with anything better than intellect.
The intelligent one
It is upon the intelligent one to exert himself in performing voluntary acts of worship – so long as he is in a state of [good] health.
