Obedience to Allaah alone
There is no Islaam except with unity, and there is no unity except with leadership, and there is no leadership except with obedience [to Allaah عز و جل ].
Then he is not one who remembers Allaah
Indeed [true] fear is to fear Allaah until your fear [of Him] lies between you and your sins; that [there] is what fear is. And [true] remembrance is obedience to Allaah.
Obedience to parents
To what extent is obedience to one’s parents [legislated]? And should it be at all times?
My father discourages me from going to the masjid
I am a youth of 16 years of age, and my father forbids me from praying [the congregational prayer] in the masjid, as well as the jumu’ah prayer.
Attaining the genuine love of Allaah
[Only the one] who [truly] knows [about] Allaah will [be able to] love Him, and when he does love Him, he shall obey Him.
Obedience to Allaah
I heard ‘Aamir ibn Dhibaarah delivering a sermon, and he said in his sermon: ‘O people! Being patient upon obedience to Allaah is easier than being patient with the punishment of Allaah.’
Love Allaah, and Allaah will love you
O son of Aadam, love Allaah and Allaah will love you; and know that you will never love Allaah until you love obedience to Him.
