Ponder death at every moment, because no one knows at which moment he will die. [So] he expects he may die in his bed, or die in his car, or die while eating his food – he may die in any place.

In the name of Allaah, All Gracious, All Merciful. All Praise is due to Allaah [alone], Lord of the worlds.
Seize the opportunity of life, and draw closer to Allaah
So we should take advantage of our life - in obedience to Allaah سبحانه و تعالى, because life is short, and time is passing [us by]. Time is [but] moments, not days, nor hours.

Golden advice on benefiting from one's time
By Allaah, were the hearts sound (pure), they would be saddened at missing out [from the goodness to be attained].
Exchanging congratulatory messages and good wishes for the new Hijree year
Every year, at the end of the Hijree year – at the conclusion of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, they enjoin certain acts of remembrance and worship.
Advice to those who occupy themselves with peoples' affairs
Likewise, do not interfere in [other] people's affairs. Don't get involved – if it doesn't concern you. And this is contrary to what some people do today.

Some people distinguish the month of Rajab with an increase in worship, such as salaah and remaining awake during the night of the 27th [of Rajab].
The best of the acts of worship
The best of the acts of worship are those that conform to the guidance of the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ and the guidance of the companions.
