Writing loan agreements

Shaykh ‘Abdur-Rahmaan as-Sa’dee said:

Allaah has commanded [us] to write all loan agreements, due to the great need to write them. That is because not writing them allows error, forgetfulness, dispute and quarrelling to enter [between the two parties] – [which is all] a great evil.
