Allaah has commanded [us] to write all loan agreements, due to the great need to write them.

Buying a car on hire purchase
I am a working man with a small salary, and I do not have any other way to buy a car other than via the bank – in an arrangement whereby I rent the car [at a higher rate], which ends with me owning it.
Father died leaving behind debts
Our father died leaving behind many debts. He had a number of children – some of whom are poor, and others who are wealthy; so should the wealthy of his children pay off their father’s debts?

Many people loan one another money without [contractually] writing anything; thereafter, problems occur between them along with the loss of one’s right – the extent of which only Allaah truly knows. So what is your advice [to the people]?
He died whilst in debt
[Regarding] the one who dies whilst being unable to settle a debt due to his poor circumstances, does his soul remain suspended [due to this debt]?
