‘Amr ibn Deenaar narrated that ‘Alee ibn al-Husayn entered upon Muhammed ibn Usaamah ibn Zayd whilst he was ill; He then began to cry. [‘Alee] asked him:

What is the matter with you (what makes you cry)?

He replied:

I [still] have a[n outstanding] loan.

[‘Alee] enquired:

How much is it?

He replied:

15,000 deenaars.

[‘Alee] said:
