Question: The questioner says is it correct that the supplication and the seeking of forgiveness between the adhaan and the iqaamah is better than reading the Qur.aan?

Response: Yes [it is]. Because the [acceptance of the] supplication between the adhaan and the iqaamah is certain, and [it] has been legislated that the supplication between the adhaan and the iqaamah is not rejected, and [know] that [the opportunity to do so] will pass.

As for reading the Qur.aan, then [the opportunity to do so] will not pass, because the time to read it is abundant; you can read it another time.

Yes.
